John David “JD” Gray founded Gray Law, LLC on the belief that clients benefit most from responsive, experienced legal counsel strategically aligned with their business objectives.
Guided by that principle, Gray Law provides strategic legal counsel to insurers and businesses facing complex litigation, insurance, and risk-related matters.
J.D. Gray brings more than sixteen years of litigation and insurance experience spanning both private practice and in-house leadership roles. Before founding Gray Law, J.D. served in legal leadership positions within a national property and casualty insurer, advising claim leadership on catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and other high-exposure matters across a nationwide claims operation.
That experience shaped the firm’s core approach to client service and litigation strategy. Gray Law emphasizes responsiveness, early case assessment, and practical risk analysis from the outset of a matter, helping clients identify exposure, evaluate strategy, and make informed business decisions as early as possible in the litigation process.
Clients work directly with experienced counsel throughout every stage of representation. Sophisticated clients benefit from direct communication, timely reporting, and consistent strategic guidance from the attorney they have hired to handle their matter.
Drawing on experience managing high-stakes litigation, overseeing outside counsel, leading complex negotiations, and advising business leadership on risk strategy, Gray Law delivers efficient, business-minded representation tailored to each client’s objectives.
